This is an older property but the owners have done a very good job of modernizing the rooms as much as possible. The bed was comfortable and there was a refrigerator and microwave. Even a walk-in closet. It is a little off-putting when you check in and see signs about "no cooking in rooms" and "no pets", but I spoke at some length with one of the owners and apparently they have had a lot of trouble with guests damaging the furniture by setting up actual cooking equipment. They don't charge enough to cover those kinds of costs. Even though a main line of the BNSF railroad is right across the highway, I never heard any noise from trains. Incidentally, their soft drink machine is a real bargain - only 75 cents for canned drinks.

This is an older two story property, located on route 66, with ample parking. The rooms have exterior doors. It was quiet, even with trains passing nearby. My room was on the second floor and had a king bed with three pillows, a blanket and a spread. It was comfortable and I slept well. The room also had a table with two chairs, a desk area with another chair, a mini-fridge, a microwave and a coffeemaker. There was a large closet and lots of electrical outlets. The a/c worked well and the Wi-Fi was adequate. The sink was located in the bathroom and there was very little counter space. The shower was a walk-in and there was no tub.

The bed was soft, but comfortable. The pillow gave support to your head. The shower was basic but appeared to be new--nice tile on walls and floor. The shower head was great--all the jets worked and were not clogged with calcium. The water pressure was just right and the controls were simple and intuitive. The small fridge was cold and the ice portion was able to freeze a bottle of water. The heater worked well and the fan was like "white noise" that muffled the trains that went by every couple hours. The toilet looked new and clean and the sink faucet got hot water rather quickly. Same with the shower hot water.

The room was very clean. Air conditioning was grate, small but nice. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly! Bed was very comfortabble. For the price I would most certainly stay there again as the room amenities, bed, the room's cleanliness and comfort were just what I look for in a stay of just 1 or a very few nights. The hotel was quite close to an up and coming section of what I would call "Old Kingman" off Historic Route 66. there were restaurants, small stores and funky boutiques, a park, the high school, akk within a short walk, if you are able and so inclined. All told, I would stay there again.

A conveniently located motel, well-lit parking, close to several good restaurants and Kingman's original downtown. A very comfortable bed, in a good-sized room, with a clean bathroom (water pressure restricted, but it is the desert), at a fair price. The mid-century feel added to its charm. I got the feeling some attention has been paid to updating and keeping the place tidy. The man at reception was friendly and efficient. I usually stay around the corner at another place but didn't, and would stay here again.
